Shiatsu is a Japanese massage therapy based on traditional Chinese medicine, beneficial during pregnancy, childbirth, and after birth. It helps with common issues in this life stage while encouraging calmness, self-awareness, and bonding with the baby. The energy of the mother and child is considered to be ‘as one’ until the child is 9 months old, and regular Shiatsu positively impacts both. It links the mind and body, helping prepare for a calm birth experience. Treatments are performed over loose clothing on a comfortable surface, making it a safe and personalised approach tailored to your needs.

This treatment offers a deep meditation experience using Tibetan singing bowls. For thousands of years, sound has helped people focus during meditation in various cultures. Sound Healing can change brainwaves, helping the mind connect with the vibrations of each sound, leading to a deep meditative state. During the session, the sound is played around the participant(s) who can sit or lie comfortably, supported with cushions and blankets and be immersed in the experience.

It is also possible to book a ‘Sound Massage’ session, where the bowls are played around the body and also placed on the body at the request of the receiver, creating vibrations that soothe the nervous system and enhance feelings of well-being.

Sound healing/ massage is known to provide assistance with:

  • Muscular pain and tension

  • Reducing stress and anxiety

  • Improving mood

  • Increasing overall energy levels

  • Improving sleep

  • Regulating blood pressure.

Sound healing can be booked as a one to one, or for groups up to four people.

Thank you for a lovely session. I am still floating on air
